Racism I can understand but xenophobia is beyond me. What is the root cause of xenophobia? Is xenophobia the option open to those who are not qualified to be racist? Is xenophobia a practical joke directed at a brother or sister from the other province whose tongue we do not understand (linguistic problem)? Perhaps when people do not share the same ancestors, there is a natural sublimated animosity (problem of biology). If the brother is not even from this country, does the problem become one of Geography then?
One day I travelled to the distant land of Namabwe on holiday. When I got there I was dishearten to see the condition of the people; they were very poor and despondent. Misery and sorrow greeted me everywhere I went. The old were hungry and the young were starving. The young were hungry, the old spoke of disease and death. The disabled were begging for money or food in the streets and the rich were too poor to help. What a deplorable scene this was. But why? Why is everybody so depressed? I asked at last. “It’s the rules, man. People are not free here. O-o, read this”, said the Rastafarian handing me a purple newspaper written in bold letters: Government Gazzette, Special Edition.

What happens to our souls when we die? Do they ascend to Heaven? Descend to Hell? Or do they get recycled back into office like some old politicians?
My experiences at the Zimbabwe-Beit bridge boarder post has led me to question whether humans really descended from apes, or just some humans, like some morons who work in the immigration office?
